| The eastern suburbs of sydney has the greatest concentration of art deco residential buildings in Australia. Unfortunately not all have been maintained with heritage in mind. With Shrinking budgets, most body corporates have been forced to deal with issues as they arise, with little consideration as to the effect on the aethestics of the original building design. Some however have been preserved extremley well, and it's a testament to how well liked the Art Deco style is, that so many of these buildings remain in one of Sydney's most developed residential areas.
